for Libya

Besides reblogging posts that are so relevant to me, why I love tumblr is because, it's the fastest medium to keep me updated with what's happening around the world. And now, it's Libya's time:

READING

It feels good to know people from all over the world are self-conscious about it  [sadly, ain't happening in fb] and trying to help by creating self-awareness. And it helps me too.

Alhamdulillah.

My prayers are with you, Libya and others.

Let's open our eyes very wide to the reality of life......And contribute as much as we can. The power of the 'pen' is very significant for all you can know~~

The Uninvited Guest

"Every soul will taste death. And We test you with evil and with good as trial; and to Us you will be returned."  [Al-Anbiya':35]

How far are we from death? I would say in a blink of an eye....

Received a phone call very early in the morning which I did not answer [zzzzz] and was left with a message saying that someone I knew just passed away-road accident

I hate early morning phone calls because it means someone is no longer in this world [each time T_T]

Envy those who left with a thousand deeds he/she had done especially when it had benefited so many people around him/her.

Said someone I can't recall:  "Hidup Berjasa,Mati Beriman"

Have I done anything good for the people?

Will I be remembered?

Will anyone continuously pray for my soul?

Al-Fatihah~~

A lot more efforts to be done but yeah, HM has stepped down....it brings a whole new set of looks to Egypt and all the surrounding Arabic countries....inshaAllah

So happppppyyy for them!! =)

Quoting Gaza TV New status update:  "The streets of Gaza are filled with thousands of people celebrating the end of 30 cruel years of rule by the brutal dictator, Hosni Mubarak. Lets hope the gates at Rafah will now open for good, and the Palestinians who have had to live in exile at Mubaraks hand can return, and those who couldn't leave, can now travel freely. May the Rafah Gates open for good, for the sake of humanity".

"And say: The truth has come and falsehood has perished. Falsehood is always bound to perish" [Al-Isra':81]

Alhamdulillah

Bismillahirrahmanirrahim.....

First and foremost,

Alhamdulillah!

The Internet connection in Egypt is already back in service. Just had a communication with my colleagues over there :)

The trending in Twitter says that Mubarak announces that he will step down but don't know the validity of that story yet.

Malaysian students are being removed to neighbouring countries and ready to fly back to Malaysia. I'm envious that they are getting months and even one year's worth of holiday. From the emails I've received,Wallahi,I'm envious that they were chosen to experience such situation, just like in Palestine [says them]

Foreigners are getting out from Egypt but Egyptians living outside are coming back to join the reformation.

Praying for the best over there and Hosni Mubarak should really step down, like for real:

go get some rest already

The weather in Malaysia has also improved and the sun is shining brightly. Hopefully, everything's fine in Johor and other states affected by the heavy rain/flood, inshaAllah.

Tomorrow marks my first holiday as an employee. Uberly excited! Got no plans yet but I am so gonna finish reading House Rules  [ter-pending di tgh2 cerita ohh ]

Never forget to extend our prayers for the well-being of everyone out there.

Rights of the Righteous

Bismillahirrahmanirrahim,

As we all should be aware of, the situation in Egypt has turned from bad to worst. It has even spread to other parts of the Middle East countries. This spirit of freedom is somehow outbursting from all parts of the countries.

A short vid clip about the chronology of what's happening  : HERE

Under the reign of Hosni Mubarak [for 30 years!], they have been denied of their total rights as the citizens. Not only that, being the ally of the West [u know who], the government [under his rule] has been denying the rights of Rafah where help cannot be transferred there. It's like having a blood related brother trying to sell of his own brother  [Muslim country helping the West to overtake the other Muslim country]

Some readings: HERE, HERE, HERE

It's a common fact that whenever a supposed-to-be peaceful demo turns out riotous, it must be because of the police force. Releasing all the tear gas and whatnot bullets and then accusing the people had turned out violent and aggressive.

This situation of wanting the government particularly H.B to step down might set a new ambiance to the whole crisis. The freedom of Al-Quds like we have been anticipating for all this while And I quote some spirited statuses from Ustaz Hasrizal:

Riot is not an easy option. People will only take to streets when they lost their confidence in the system and the politicians. Egypt is a strong reminder to those in power who shamelessly abuse our system!

Palestin.... you'll find the way! Keep praying...  [translation: taking down Hosni Ghair mubarak is not only to improve Egypt, but also to open back the blocked passage in Rafah! ]

We still can't get through to the people there. The Internet is still down, miraculously, 'someone' released the prisoners and gave them weapons to run amok in the streets. The police aren't patrolling. People not involved in the riot are hiding in their homes fearing that someone would come knock their doors and rob them   [ whom? wallahu 'alam]. I got to know this from some friends, they hear gunshots most of the time right before their ears. Food supplies, water supplies have been cut down. For so many years, the Palestinians have been experiencing this situation. This might whisper the spirit of solidarity on a new level. Not just saying that we support our brothers and sisters but actually experiencing the same feeling  [ I guess]. Regardless, I do pray for their safety and well-being.

God knows until when this situation will prolong. At least until the people's demand is commenced. For Hosni Mubarak to step down. Enough is enough with your dictatorship. Enough is enough with your disloyalty towards your own people. Please step down nice and quietly already!

Those not affected, at least try to acknowledge this situation and know the truth about our brothers and sisters in Islam. Don't be so ignorant just because we are SO FAR away and that we should not bother [ no offense but I am quite disappointed by some people who's making fun about this matter]. This is a matter of solidarity among the Muslims throughout the world so please be a bit conscientious. [a reminder to myself]

Peace for freedom, inshaAllah!

Allahu musta'an....May He help those in the righteous path, ameen~

Reminder

Changing is good

Changing for the better cause is even excellent

But, when you start belittling others as if you have never been in their shoes, ghalat hai, so wrong!

We must never forget He Who could give us the 'nur' could also take it away, na'uzubillah

Allahu musta'an...

The Best Example

Bismillahirrahmanirrahim
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Compassionate

Only one speech for today

THE RIGHTEOUS COMPANY <---click

And the Day the wrongdoer will bite on his hands [in regret] he will say, "Oh, I wish I had taken with the Messenger a way. (27) Oh, woe to me! I wish I had not taken that one as a friend. (28) He led me away from the remembrance after it had come to me. And ever is Satan, to man, a deserter." (29) And the Messenger has said, "O my Lord, indeed my people have taken this Qur'an as [a thing] abandoned." (30)

[Al-Furqan: 27-30 ]

Take the path[sunnah] of Prophet Muhammad Sallallahu 'ailahi wassalam and practice it....inshaAllah it will benefit us both in this world and the hereafter.

May I can improve myself towards the better way inshaAllah, ameen~

Why do bad things happen to me all the time? T_T

 Bismillahirrahmanirrahim
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Compassionate

life is turning me down :(  <--[ click ]-----> continuation

"But perhaps you hate a thing and it is good for you; and perhaps you love a thing and it is bad for you. And Allah Knows, while you know not"(Al-Baqarah: 216)

Quoting some of N.A.K's words:

‎"This reliance on Allah, acknowledging that Allah knows better, what's better for me than even I know for myself, and that he cares more for me than anyone in the world would care for me. Allah loves His believing slave more than anyone else would love him."

"No mother would love her child like Allah loves His slave."

"He gets revelation and he delivered it to the people and he loves to get revelation. It is the most beautiful experience for him."

"but it is at that very moment when we are in distress that Allah really test who are the people who believe and who are the people who only believe when time were good."

"Allah is not putting us through anything out of spite, or hatred, or abandonment, or anything like these."

part 2:

‎"It's not because of your skill, it's not because of your resume and it's not because your degree. It is because Allah is providing you."

"...perhaps Allah tooks some worldly things away from you so you learn to rely more on Allah."

"This is what makes the Muslim different from other people: We never expect bad from God...."

****************************************************************

Whatever good or bad things that befall you, only Allah knows whether it is good or bad. Just like the Quranic verse given, perhaps we hate a thing but it is good for us and perhaps we love a thing so much but it is bad for us. Allah knows and we know not. The tests given are a means to see whether we, as His creations rely on Him or not.

Let us refresh our minds, when something bad happens to us, what do we do first? cry?yell?listen to melancholic songs?go out randomly?go out with perfect strangers? rebel and do something against our belief?or do we take ablution, perform solah and read the Quran?

What about if happy things come to us? what do we do? say our gratitude? Alhamdulillah? jump with joy? go to the movies? shop?

Frankly, I dare to say, we are not thankful creatures [and that means I am included]....we tend to forget over and over again that whatever happens, happens for a reason. Whatever happens is a sign of how we should rely upon Him as our creatOr.

So,what should we [ I ] do?

Take action, be thankful......If bad things happen to you [ or if you did not get what you prayed for], don't worry, it was never meant for you at the first place and Allah will replace it with something even better, if not now, later....Your task is to never give up on Him and continue praying....inshaAllah everything will be FINE.....this is not some mere optimistic statements but rather I was/am being realistic then comes optimism along the way ^^

Wallahu a'lam

The Black Sheep

Another great talk by brother Nouman Ali khan, mashaAllah

TODAY YOU CAN, TOMORROW YOU CANNOT

In this short 26:18 minutes of video, he talks about how to deal with the situation when a person decides to change for the better cause. About a Muslim wanting to live the rightful way but how to deal with the people around him [nucleus, extended family, society in general ]. Should you obliged to people's acceptance that much?

Sometimes even our own people [extended family] don't/won't understand this and this, such and such so how? Just for an example: avoiding to shake hands with male cousins or uncles
 [ aunty's husband ] <---happens to many people I guess

So, take some time and listen to what N.A.K has to say ^^

mind the title :)

one thing is for sure, there's gonna be a lot of N.A.K's spazzing in this blog [ and also in former blog, teheeeee~~] because he's my new inspiration. His speeches are from his experience so it is so pure, no rigidity, very humbled, well-versed,easy to grasp,excetera2, inshaAllah so don't get bored yah?!

Tips atasi zina hati

Ibnu Qayyim memberikan terapi mujarab mengenai masalah rindu.

Syeikhul Islam Ibnu Taimiyah mengatakan:

Inilah ubat rindu paling baik.

Life is also war, storm and flood

Bismillahirrohmanirrohim,

The north part of Malaysia is being tested with a heavy flood:

refer:  here

Happened to noticed some Muslim lad and lasses celebrating Halloween the other day.

Bribery here and there.

Ruthless killings here and there.

Dirty politics.

Now you do the maths.

Allah sends His 'signs' not to burden people out of their capabilities but to remind them [us] of how far we are from Him and what are we doing to ourselves.

Praise be to Him who did not send his 'signs' like the previous people where earth were sank to its root leaving only the believers.

Would we only realize if that day comes?

I am so ashamed of myself. Is this me being a vicegerent on earth?   [ let us all ask this question to ourselves]

Life on this earth is not forever. Gain everything [material] that you want, do anything that you want, but in the end when your turn is up to meet back the ground, you'll only bring with you your deeds. And what did you prepare for it?

May Allah ease their pains in the affected areas and also those in Indonesia whom are affected by the spewing volcano of 'Gunung Merapi', the Palestinians and everyone whom are battling with their life conditions. May Allah forgive us all, ameen

the chain of good deeds

Bismillahirrohmanirrohim,

help those in need and He will help you even more, inshaAllah  [ picta from google]

Have you ever come across any actions done by complete strangers that you cannot forget?

Well, I have [ and I bet you have too ]...among them are;

a man who fed some stray cats near the surau in my neighbourhood....he fed them with those cat food and fed them a lot....I was totally amazed by his action...the cats even recognized him because he called them with names  [to say that he has done that for quite some time ]

a young lady who attended a blind man crossing the street...even walked him to his destination

a big brother who treated his three little siblings for lunch, treated them with patience, and even helped them finish their homework  [ happened to sit next to their table on that particular day ]

a 'pakcik jual nasik lemak' who gave free fried chicken and said "xpelah, ambiklah, rezeki cik/incik harini"  [no,I wasn't the only one who got it....hoho]

a stewardess who attended to one passenger who brought two little kids with her and entertained the elder child while the mother was feeding her little sister , she was very gentle and caressing

a sweet friend of mine who never gets tired of all the questions given by this one little girl  [ in this case, she's no stranger to me but just focus on the action ]

a lecturer who could give consultation to some students who were not even her students and basically she didn't even teach that particular subject

A little child in the park who picked up every 'thrash' he found and threw it in the dustbin [ nobody told him to do so]

a young man who gave his seat in the LRT to a woman with her child  [ YES,it's our responsibility to do so but seeing him very weary but still stood and offered his seat was just so amazing! ]

A friend who could give his/her help whenever needed without complaining or wanting anything back in return

All of these and many more are just real life lessons....lessons that ought to be taken as good examples for us [me] to follow. You don't need books nor attend classes to learn precious lessons like this. You just need to observe, then follow and show it to others and they would also follow and that chain of good deeds and good examples would prolong inshaAllah

"For each [religious following] is a direction toward which it faces. So race to [all that is] good. Wherever you may be, Allah will bring you forth [for judgement] all together. Indeed, Allah is over all things competent".  [Al-Baqarah: 148 ]

till next time,

let's do good deeds, simple or extravagant kind of deeds doesn't matter, it is He who judges ^^

Volunteers to Palestine have already arrived in Gaza on 21st of October 2010, a little bit late with all the hustle bustles but alhamdulillah they've succeeded!

may Allah ease their journey

Wish I were among them T_T

A sudden flash-back of how extra-excited I was in SMIH pertaining this matter

For now, I'll pray to Allah may each and every one of them are blessed  [ and us also ], ameen
